Psychotherapist

My clinical approach focuses upon the creation of an engaging, comfortable, and safe space for clients to identify goals and develop, practice, and evaluate strategies that manifest positive changes in their lives. I (officially) began working in the mental health field in 1999, and I have many years of experience working with individuals experiencing symptoms related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, sleep difficulties, personal loss/grief, ODD, gender identity, and OCD (plus ample experience working with children on the autism spectrum). I believe in the value of a strengths-based, collaborative, multi-disciplinary, integrative, client-centered approach, through which I utilize creative applications of evidence-based practices that include elements of play therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, DBT, ACT, various CBT frameworks, and solution-focused therapy. It is my belief that the ideal therapeutic relationship is one in which the client is able to be themselves and further develop themselves to experience greater satisfaction, happiness, fulfillment, peace, and connectivity.
