Psychotherapist
Hello! My name is Krystina Esquibel, and I am the Program Manager for the Binge Eating Disorder (BED) Program. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor dedicated to supporting individuals healing from all forms of eating disorders, with a special focus on Binge Eating Disorder.
I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Therapy, and have dedicated my career to helping clients heal their relationship with food, body, and self. I strive to meet clients where they are, using a client-centered and collaborative approach that honors each person’s unique experience and pace of growth.
I am certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (IS-ART), a trauma-focused modality that helps clients process distressing memories and emotions. My approach integrates evidence-based practices with warmth, curiosity, and a trauma-informed lens to create a safe and supportive environment for healing.
I believe that recovery involves more than changing behaviors. It’s about nurturing self-compassion, emotional awareness, and authentic connection. I am passionate about supporting individuals on their journey toward freedom from shame and helping them cultivate peace with food, body, and self.
