I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have a MS in Counseling (Marriage, Family and Child Counseling focus) and MPA (Health Care Administration focus) from the California State University, East Bay and BA in Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz. I work with a diversity of clients throughout the lifespan including those experiencing grief and loss, anxiety, mood disorders, depression, life transitions, chronic pain and illness, issues related to women’s mental wellness, and clients in the LGBTQ+ community. I have additional experience with developmentally disabled clients as well as children and families in the child welfare and juvenile dependency systems.
My style is respectful and sensitive, making the therapeutic process appropriate for clients in different stages of life. I work with children adolescents, and adults. I utilize an Integrative and Eclectic Therapy approach tailored to the client’s needs. Therapeutic modalities include Person-Centered Therapy, Strength Based Therapy, Grief Therapy, Gender-Affirming Therapy, Solution Focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I have additional training in disordered eating and erotically expansive clients. I am a Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional (CSTIP) and a Certified Grief Informed Professional (CGP).
