I have been working in mental health since 1999 in both a residential and outpatient setting. I graduated from San Jose State with a Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2006. I have over sixteen years experience providing individual and group treatment for patients while working at a major health care provider. I have a speciality in anxiety disorders.
As a clinician I try to meet my clients where they are. I tend to be highly interactive and eager to provide feedback and insights.
I am empathic and utilize an eclectic approach to therapy utilizing CBT, DBT, Family Systems, Psychodynamic and Attachment Theory. As a generalist I treat all issues and have extensive experience working with clients with diverse backgrounds. I believe all people have the potential to grow and become the best version of themselves. I take great satisfaction in helping people improve their lives.
When I am not at work, I enjoy outdoor activities with my family.
