I have also spent time as a Residential Caseworker at Bay Area Turning Point, working with survivor women of family violence and as a Rehab Clinician at Mental Health and Mental Retardation Authority of Texas, working with individuals with severe mental health disorders. I have a wide range of expertise treating families with mixed ethnicities and families of immigrant descent from various countries. As a result of working with such a diverse population groups, I developed a working style that promotes collaboration and provides support, patience, and compassion necessary to enable change and growth. I believe that the diversity of the cases I worked on allowing me to always bring a different perspective as well as understand and empathize with individuals of various perspectives.
