Mental Health and Substance Use Recovery Program

Co-Occurring Substance Use Support with Primary Mental Health Treatment Program

In partnership with Summit Estate, our Adult Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides comprehensive, structured care for adults (18 years and older) transitioning from inpatient or residential treatment. This dual program is designed to support individuals as they return to daily life, providing continuity of care with a strong focus on mental health rehabilitation. Integrated treatment for co-occurring substance use disorders ensures a holistic approach, helping to bridge the gap between intensive care and long-term independence.

Transitioning from inpatient or residential treatment and returning to the environment where nothing might have changed, while the client feels entirely new, can be an adjustment. Our team is here to support that transition because we know it can be both empowering and challenging, but with the right tools, it can be a true testament to lasting change.

Our Adult Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) serves as a crucial bridge between 24/7 care and independent living, offering the structure, consistency, and clinical support needed to maintain momentum in your recovery.

What to expect

Personalized, Integrated Treatment

Your care may include a combination of individual therapy, where you can explore personal challenges in depth, and group therapy focused on building skills and insight.

If appropriate, psychiatric providers will manage medications to support your mental health. For those with substance use concerns, treatment includes relapse prevention strategies, education on the relationship between mental health and addiction, and support for early recovery.

Therapeutic Skill Building & Peer Support

Group sessions focus on developing practical tools for managing symptoms, regulating emotions, improving communication, and preventing relapse.

You’ll also benefit from connecting with peers who understand what you’re going through, creating a sense of shared experience and community.

Multidisciplinary Team & Aftercare Planning

Treatment plans are curated by a collaborative team of licensed therapists, psychiatric providers, and substance use specialists. This team meets regularly to review your progress and adjust your plan as needed. Toward the end of your IOP stay, we’ll work closely with you to create a personalized aftercare plan that may include outpatient therapy, psychiatric follow-up, support groups, or community-based resources.

We can help you assess if this program is a good option for you.
