Psychiatrist

I am a general adult psychiatrist dedicated to providing compassionate, thoughtful, and high-quality mental health care. I believe effective treatment begins with careful listening and the development of a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, respect, and collaboration. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where patients feel comfortable sharing their concerns and actively participating in their care.

I work with adults across a wide range of mental health conditions. My approach is patient-centered and evidence-based, and I collaborate closely with each individual to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their goals, values, and preferences. When appropriate and with consent, I value involving family members or other supports as part of the treatment process. I approach medication management thoughtfully and emphasize ongoing communication, education, and careful monitoring to ensure patients feel informed and confident in their care.

I completed my undergraduate studies at University of Tennessee Knoxville, attended medical school at Yale University, and went on to complete my residency in General Psychiatry at Vanderbilt University.

I value working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment and am committed to supporting individuals as they move toward improved mental health, stability, and personal growth.
