Psychotherapist

Clinical approach:
Therapy is like a road trip . There are many obstacles and fun pit stops on the way to reach your desired destination. I believe that my client is always in the driver’s seat and I ride shot gun. I believe in teaching my clients the skills they need to overcome obstacles. When there is a fork in the road, I will support you to process your thoughts  and manage your time so that you can make the best decision for your life.
I identify as a social justice advocate who is passionate about empowering my clients of diverse cultural backgrounds through culturally competent and trauma-informed services. It is extremely important to me to promote equality and equity by helping clients and their families gain the tools they need to level “the playing field” so they can reach and realize their own maximum potential. I utilize a strengths based approach while empowering my clients.

About me:
Therapy and I fit like 2 puzzle pieces as I enjoy listening and building genuine connections with others. I would say my biggest asset is how real and objective I am with my clients. When I am not working, I enjoy learning to play the eukalele, baking new desserts, and  volunteering at the Santa Clara blind center. In the past, I have enjoyed many adrenaline rushing activities such as skydiving, paragliding, snorkeling, etc. I am eager to support you in your journey towards fulfilling your goals.
